These are the obvious blind spots of each group. One can furnish many examples during the pandemic. The most obvious blind spot is that no one will learn without the incentive to learn. The least obvious blind spot is that this crisis doesn’t seem to provide enough incentive.

Isn't the word succeed relative? No bigger hatred for anything more than the state in my heart, but with the right incentive structure it is possible to make it a whole lot less burdensome (see: Taiwan)

Sure, but incorporating time frames and probabilities may make these types of sentiments much more impactful.

Liberals need to learn that loopholes can be exploited. Social justice advocates need to learn that public shaming and boycotts can also be used against the good guys.

Heterogeneity as a survival tactic? Reminds me of this quote from Ghost in the Shell: “It's simple: Overspecialize, and you breed in weakness. It's slow death.”

That's the whole point of a democracy to me. Having only 2 parties is the penultimate level of specialization.
