I've never seen an article like this in the Lancet. It's not a study, it's a cry for help. This would never fly in a journal nor would a Doctor or Scientist use such charged language in a paper. This is sad.

Except for the part, of course, where it has been published in a journal, and the author is a published scientist in addition to an RN.
