@MyCrypto was ahead of the game with built-in functionality for ENS registration all the way back in late 2017. One could take that much farther, though.

You're describing what @metamask_io already is today.
I agree that Metamask is really becoming a standard. People involved in Ethereum usually say "Metamask" instead of Web3 wallet, which is a huge success sign. Kinda like everyone says Kleenex. It's a generic term.
