A civilizing structure acknowledges a human drive and corrals it into positive-sum behavior, where most or all parties are better off. A decivilizing structure amplifies a human drive in negative-sum ways, leaving most people worse off. These are often created unintentionally.

I think you are way off base. Greed is a vice, rational self-interest is not. Nothing wrong with making a profit on investment where you risk loss share too. Also nothing wrong with capital hiring labor, _per se_. Usury, rent-seeking, strong crushing weak consistently => wrong.
Sure, agree. Call it artistic license within the confines of a tweet. Also, I actually think many of the best tech founders are more like professors than traditional businessmen in disposition — money is not the primary motivator. It’s more like impact.

Lust, in its various forms: different flavors of sophisticated hedonism. Wrath and envy, though, are pretty tricky. (Sports and martial arts are not civilized wrath - speaking as someone who used to spar regularly, you often feel a strong connection with your opponent.)
