Used NeRF to make a "Bullet Time" effect for a friend's wedding.
We set up 15 iPhones to capture slow-motion video, then used Instant-NGP to train a bunch of NeRFs on the frames.
..need to work on improving the quality / resolution a bit more.

Note that "playable" might be a bit of a stretch, all of these builds seem to be buggy as hell - doesn't feel like it got much past a tech demo and some experiments

Opt-in as well of course, about 50:50 both ways.
Technically this is tags for LAION and coordinated around that.
It's actually quite difficult due to size (eg what if your image is on a news site?)
Exploring other mechanisms for attribution etc, welcome constructive input. twitter.com/spawning_/stat

experimented with making gpt generate VR scenes with janus by talking to it. as it turns out, it can do it. the most interesting part is that it can handle spatial relationships so moving forward this vindicates the idea of using some kind of markup for scene description.

Now consider having 100s of browser tabs open and the attention corresponded to clicking on buttons and keyboard keys.

These concepts for generative spatialized interfaces all feel so warm and inviting. We're not far from being able to generate and use these sorts of UIs for real.
What shape do your conversations take? What connections do you make as you go about your day?
Soon, we'll see.
