I got to rewire a bookstore with I'd guess about 15 years of accumulated LAN.

That shot was from a set for inventory and re-wiring of about a half-dozen aisles of servers I managed in a colo facility

I just don't know how someone lets four dead-end cables accumulate for every functioning one.

They used Zip disks as backups for their Ibid machine. (This was just a few years ago.)

The failure rate on zip disks is SO HIGH...I only suffered total file loss once and then swore never again
