The gospels are silent about Jesus’ youth. Other than impressing the rabbis at 12 there’s really nothing before his baptism at 30 so you gotta assume he at least worked for his step-dad.

On the off chance you’re a real reverend, you know all about the Infancy gospels of Jesus and I don’t need to describe them. But Jesus sure did a lot of interesting things as a kid.

For me, “The Last Temptation of Christ” is canon. Jesus was a carpenter like his adoptive dad and made crosses for the Romans before Judas took him away from it.
