    Is there a way to generate shielded txs in Zcash without having to rely on the bloat from zcashd? I would assume the answer is no. It would make resolving the following issue much easier

    Upon more Googling, it seems like advanced, production-ready zk crypto in Go is non-existent. I'm starting to think that asked for a bit too little money from the MG fund.

    The lack of responses is concerning. Since Zcash is a Bitcoin fork, many Go tools for the Bitcoin ecosystem work for transparent ZEC. But, most of them (if any) don't support shielded ZEC.

    Are there any Zcash Go tools?
