Wut, only time I can visualize things that are not there with my minds eye is with Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Is this something that’s common? I think people just say “yeah I can see it” they don’t actually hallucinate it.

for me visualization isn't like hallucination - there's no confusion the image is real/eye-delivered - but it's still an image w/ colors, sharp edges, etc. it feels "reduced" in a vague way, a bit like faded or viewed-through-a-tube, but attending to any aspect strengthens it
