I'd be curious to see more history for "Read a book in any format" to get a better feel for the trend. It's slightly down / mostly flat from 2011. I find that mildly surprising given the rise of audiobooks, e-books, etc.

Yeah, I don't really know what is up with the drop from 79% to 74% in reading a book in any form. Otherwise, it seems like the % of Americans reading is mainly constant. I have a rough feeling that people are definitely consuming more info between ebooks, audio, podcasts, etc.
