“Hipster” may be a negative term b/c it represents a rushed approach to uniqueness. I don’t think high value uniqueness in a person (taste, viewpoints, ambitions) looks like uniform uniqueness. Maybe that person looks mainly basic w/ a few facets seeming totally out of left field

I have some thoughts on this idea I’ve been mulling over for months, esp from the POV of taste & authenticity which are misused/overused words. It’s a blog post I gotta write.
