This feels as much as an indictment of decentralization as anything. Even when users are literally at risk of *imprisonment*, you still have to clone an existing service to get them to even consider bothering with the decentralized version!?
I’m a big believer in decentralization, crypto, etc. But yes, I’ve been intentionally trying to argue how it has worked in the past and how it is hard to do right.
