BTW, I have no plan on stopping. I just work in crypto and with others in crypto. This is always on the back of my mind and I get questions occasionally ("Wait, do you hate the RIAA or like them?") so I just wanted to say this explicitly for my own peace of mind

I also share some ideas on Mastodon (https://refactorcamp.org/@backus ) when I feel like they're not well enough formed/too weird/whatever for Twitter. If it is online, it is all the same IMO, and personally I like that I can reach a lot of people on Twitter.

What’s the best book you’ve read on internet’s history especially pre dot com? Struggling to find a good read on that.

Any specific time period? I haven't really ventured beyond the reach of the
@internetarchive since I haven't needed to. Usually, I just start with a question I want to answer, read what I can online, search books, download a few epubs, extract keywords to search online, repeat
