Wait, cookies aren’t shared across browsers in Android either though. It’s just that most (good) apps use Chrome Custom Tabs so all your sessions carrie over seamlessly
I would pay an embarrassing amount of money is disable all in-app browsers on phones. Especially IPhone, where cookies aren’t shared across browsers. At least half of the complaints about not being logged in would go away. Ban in-app browsers.

obviously this does not stand for SFSafariViewController, which does share the cookies with Safari.

But SFSafariViewController lacks tab support and when the app unloads, it’s no longer presented so you lost all your progress. Just use http://UIApplication.shared.open

@Android I'd rather make it mandatory that all apps implement the Chrome integration as their in app browser. Brings logins over, and stays up to date. I can't login to@FoodNetwork Android app because their in app browser is too old for@YouTubeTV auth to work.

I'd say in app browser is a setting incan set system wide. I wouldn't want only chromium. If they limit my choices, I might as well use Apple
