For context: I haven't pirated anime since high school! But what Netflix (A SERVICE I PAY FOR) is doing with LWA is uniquely anti-consumer
-
Question: what if I preorder the LWA Blu-rays? Am I good? Or do I have to keep sitting on my hands and just pretend this show doesn't exist

They have based so much of their brand on the concept of binging a show and to release it "real time" undermines that.
-
they've done other "real time" releases before, and Netflix is specifically releasing this show in "real time" in Japan

Yeah it def sounds like you’ve decided you’re entitled to simulcast and are using that as justification for piracy tho
-
i don't think it's piracy at all if i'm paying the company exactly what it costs for the thing

LWA is art and the kind of anime streaming dollars should support, and Netflix is seriously depressing that in the US market
