See, this is why I would never put my entire career at the mercy of @TeamYouTube like many youtubers do. It’s because their policies don’t really mean anything. If they don’t like you, they’ll demonitize you and legally there’s nothing you can do about it.

You’re right. My misunderstanding. Fortunately, nobody is going to jail! A private company made a choice...

Yes that my dystopian dream. For a few major corporations to have complete control of the marketplace of ideas. Can you just imagine all the rainbows and unicorns in our society once the multi billion dollar tech corporations have complete control? Want it be grand?

That’s an issue of monopolization, not free speech.

I agree. And once they monopolize everything (they have already), they then get to curate content and control speech. It is a speech issue. Don't dilude yourself into thinking it isn't. Crowder was demonetized for saying mean things while Colbert, Kimmel, and Bee walk free

Chowder is also walking free. He basically got reflected by a publisher. Or his show got canceled. It happens literally every day. Every. Day.

So we admit that YouTube is a publisher and not a platform then? Because clear rules would be a fantastic change of pace for everyone involved. Or are you unclear what you are arguing for?

I think you are unclear. I am arguing that YouTube is not the government. They are a business and are free to make business decisions. They are not censoring anyone. I know you what to spin this to be more than that, but that is literally all I am saying.
