    Here's how I spent my 25th anniversary of being a registered nurse. In a 1/4 of a century I have not seen things worse than they are now, with Government's insulting attitude to NHS pay and relying on the continued good will of NHS staff, more targets, fewer staff, more patients

    Before Christmas Mole Valley Labour Party collected money to help families struggling to put food on the table. Today Chris delivered gift cards to Trinity in Leatherhead, St Johns in Dorking, Eastwick in Bookham & The Weald in Beare Green. Thank you to eveyone who contributed.

    Tory supporters form their opinions based on it being someone else's fault; immigrants, snowflakes, the unemployed, the EU, lefties, the media, damn it, even the judiciary. Is it any wonder they refuse to see failure of their Government (not MY Government) to protect the public?

    100,000 dead in the UK. By the end of this month we will have more than 2000 dying each day. The NHS is overwhelmed. And I'm telling you as a medic...this isn't due to "alas...this new variant" or "alas...people are breaking the rules". It's a failure of Government.

    It's worth digging this one out. Here's me at the Trump protest July 2018. I finished work early and rushed down there (hence the suit). That was what a peaceful protest looks like. We managed to avoid storming into anywhere.
