Alright, so now we have medievalists not only doubling down on using racially-loaded terms like "Anglo-Saxon(ist)" etc. but also decrying uses of "gender-based pronouns" as "trendy." There's the intersectionality of oppression our colleagues face. #MedievalTwitter

I just can't even. If that's where it's devolved too, is there any -actual- discussion still happening? If not, is there a plan for how to proceed?

"Gender-based pronouns". I spent almost an hour trying to think of a witty comment but I'm just tired.

The archivist in me wonders if this listserv content is being preserved for future historians researching institutional oppression?

How to look like a dinosaur, just before Halloween... (Also, um, are they saying they want non-gender-based pronouns..?)

No, she was implying that the only pronouns that matter are normative he & she, & other gender identities don’t matter. Awful.
