Heaven doesn't exist. Defining "disease" is fairly arbitrary. I imagine my present physical existence could look diseased or otherwise undesirable to future cyborgs. In that context, it's important to respect myriad ways of being.

ALS is a disease. There's nothing arbitrary about defining ALS, a neurodegenerative condition which leads to paralysis and death, as a disease. The cyborg thing is apples to oranges. Why is it important to respect a neurodegenerative condition as a way of being?
