praying for the day my mother goes vegan because it will mean 1. her inflammation problems will be reduced, 2. i would not have to be cooking bacon and cheese omelette on toast for her right now
She would starve to death if she wasn't served animal products? She would rather die than stop contributing to the murder of animals and eat healthier? If she was my mother, I'd let her die.

she's stubborn and extremely sensitive to new foods. her consumption impact is minimal and it would be psychotic to watch her starve to death

Pigs have the same level of intelligence as three year olds. It's psychotic to eat pig flesh and it's psychotic to feed pig flesh to others.
-
it's psychotic to produce pig flesh, morally compromising to buy pig flesh. however if you found it as roadkill there'd be no problem. so i'm buying her meat and feeding it to her so that she doesn't die. the balance of moral concerns weigh in favour of not killing my mother

Except that bacon is extremely unhealthy and you're effectively contributing to a shorter and lower quality lifespan. If anything you are morally obligated to force to change her diet. Force feeding her if necessary.
-
no, my mother has individual rights and bodily autonomy. i will not force feed her. i've cooked many vegan meals for her that she doesn't like, and tell her regularly the benefits of being vegan. force feeding a person is a crime much worse than buying meat.

You disgust me.
-
yeah, sorry for keeping my mother alive.
-
Except that you don't need to feed her animal products to keep her alive. There is no necessity for it. You say she has bodily autonomy but you won't let her make the decision to starve to death. You have no real morality. You have post hoc rationalizations.
