Morality is necessary to structural violence -- to in-group/out-group mentality.

it's really not. hypocrisy, betrayal of values, and meaningless bloodlust is also par for the course in authority

as well as in ingroup/tribal mentality in general. morality is one of our best means of opposing it

It's hard to dehumanize the other without casting them as evil and it's hard to cast them as evil if you reject it
