And I deserved every spanking I got as a kid. I think it's ok to have a fear of your parents...I still do as a grown adult lol

She does have some issues but I don’t think they are from spanking, I think they are from her culture and environment. Two diff issues

We live in a society where our property relations are based on violence. Private property is called "freedom" but in reality it was and is a mechanism of conquest and slavery. Thus you can have privileged individuals endowed by the ruling class and everyone else struggling.

I can mostly agree with that but I define property by the law. I believe that law can be enforced accurately and there for we the people can make sure people are not seen as property. I hope you can understand that

Yeah but 13th Ammendment: No slavery "except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted" + Drug War that largely targets poor blacks? It just transforms... sorry to say. Workers are commodities and if a capitalist can get free labour, he will...

I agree workers are seen as property. Especially under capitalistic - Republican ideology. That’s why health care should be more important to them, but that’s another story. However this topic is about parent and child relations and how that impacts society.
