There's literally no objective reason to not be vegan. The only reason anyone has for not being vegan is either ignorance or a gluttonous appetite for cruelty. If slaughter can be humane, what about humane imprisonment or humane rape? That's part of animal agriculture as well.
When you imprison someone who is guilty of nothing for the purpose of gaining a profit off them, that's called slavery. Are you going to argue that there is such a thing as humane slavery too? You're not very good at mental gymnastics, btw.

Stop moving the goal posts. You said imprisonment, not slavery. And while all slavery was/is bad, some forms were more humane bc “HUMANE” is a MODIFIER! It’s a relative term that is used to compare actions/conditions
-
Imprisonment is a condition of slavery and I'm not moving the goal posts since you're the one who said basically anything could be humane
Humane slaughter
Humane imprisonment of innocent creatures
Humane slavery
Humane rape
Humane destruction of the planet

Are you trying to tell me that you couldn’t improve on animal agriculture to make it better? No better treatment of the animals could be achieved? Bc that’s what I’m advocating
-
Exploitation is exploitation no matter how much you try to whitewash it. I'm not interested in "improving" something that is inherently wretched. I'm interested in abolishing it completely.
-
Lol good luck with that. Refusing to accept improvement to hold out for complete abandonment of most of the world’s diet is really helping the animals. I’m sure they would like to have more humane conditions
