Fruit has fibre and doesn't spike insulin or negatively affect the liver in the same way as refined sugars. Fruit is also full nutrients and antioxidants. The only time fruit becomes bad is when it's refined, e.g. fruit juices.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHEJE6I-Yl4 …

Food has no moral value. It is not good or bad.

That depends on who you ask. Most Vegans would disagree.

The processes that go into getting food to people can be good or bad, moral or immoral. Food itself doesn't have a moral value.

sorry but what kind of argument is this? obviously fruit has no moral value. they’re fruits. but the terms “good” and “bad” aren’t exclusive to morality. why would anyone want to justify eating foods that’s objectively BAD for your body? lmao

Some people can't understand that "good" and "bad" can be used outside of a moral context.

I understand it. I just think assigning for moral value is ignorant. It tastes good or not; it has his it bad effects or not; it, in and of itself, is neither good nor bad, and saying it is has fucked up generations of people's views of food and the human body.

Nobody said that refined sugar is evil or that fruits are holy. Only you are making that inference.
