    There was a post on the hackintosh reddit where someone was able to use it no problems with a DisplayPort to mini display port adapter. It had something to do with the fact usb-c connectors on the motherboard don’t touch the graphics card like they do on macs

    Setup was flawless. Downloaded an app, plugged it in, done. Thinks my iPad is a second display (with a pretty consistent frame rate too… not 60fps, but significantly better than other wireless solutions).

    Nifty. How it works: - intentional malformed SSH packet - if the username doesn’t exist, you get a “failed to auth” error - if it _does_ exist, the malformed packet just makes the SSH server suddenly terminate the connection = BINGO, user match! Dang. This is not good.

    I've started using Carthage recently and it's a game-changer for working on lower-powered / battery-limited machines. Precompiles and caches frameworks (so there's less to build). Pity the setup is pretty manual and 3rd party frameworks support it less than CocoaPods.
