And believe me this isn't a one-off this has been going on for days. The idea that you can just ignore people like this is exactly what lets them continue to prey on other people.

Only this last string for days. This rotation of harassment between all of us for weeks and weeks on end, unpredictably, with no idea what will happen next, who will be targeted and how.

Yes, and that is awful.

Have the police been of any help? I’m pretty sure legislations for this exists. After the Richard Farley case the US introduced anti-stalking laws. They should be relevant here.

I called the police non-emergency number when I was most alarmed. They took my name and number, said they would call me back that day, and never did.

Ok, that's not too surprising unfortunately. You'll need a diary of every incident (w/ time, what happened, proof, how it made you feel, harm suffered, police ref code if you file reports, etc). (Sadly, I've been through all this).

I should note, your friends being targeted is also harassment. That should also be in your file. If you take any legal action or if the case develop that's evidence that not only were you targeted but there was an attempt to isolate you by targeting your friends etc
