Rescued a small bird that had been hit by a car and now he's in a cardboard box with food and water and I'm just hoping he will pass the night 
I might bring him to a vet tomorrow... any advice welcome!

Oh that’s tiny!
Small birds are very difficult to treat.
There’s a good chance it can recover on its own! Might need bird painkillers and medicine.
