And yeh — the bottom half are mostly poor and disabled kids who weren’t pushed out in earlier years.
Also almost nobody gets a 1st (3 students max).
Then the top 40-50% get a 2(I).
With the bottom half getting 2(II) and 3rds. It’s not even linear Point being. It’s a terrible system. Most the UGs hate it there, end up depressed, etc. It doesn’t have a good rep around my gen — it’s more like “wow, you survived, you must be good”, than what you want which is “they must have taught you a lot”. Hallmark of a bad system.
