A colleague told me earlier. More than 900 people attended the all staff meeting. More than 100 did not disclose their name in joining the call.

Yeah... I didn't like it. At all. Had this been in person, would they come with their face covered? Cameras were off so there was a high level of anonymity anyway. Even the explanation that "some people are scared" isn't ok. And I say this as a temp junior employee.

Somebody obviously reported back to management, such that the lawyers contacted @ImperialUCU, right?

That's my understanding. I also think that in principle even management could attend, it was an all staff event. The move sounds even more disappointing (and I thought I had been disappointed enough by now...)

Something really stinks, and by trying to dig their way out of this they seem to be making it so much worse.
