I.e it is diagram to convey ideas. So there's isn't a conventional x-axis. I think there's just a lot of foundational concepts in data visualisation that it might be helpful to first learn. Maybe some wider reading would help.

To me the question suggests you're struggling to interpret the diagram. Which is fine I remember in my youth when I had so many questions and misconceptions. Keep at it, you'll get there!

Ah, I recognise your upset. Many people new to science expect simple answers and interpreting data is very difficult for some. Dr Laura Ross at the University of Edinburgh & Dr Heath Blackmon at Texas A&M lead incredible labs that provides great foundational reading!

Great, perhaps you, as someone who clearly has researched this can explain: 1) Are there more than 2 sexes? What are they? 2) If sex is a spectrum, what unit is it measured in?

I would love to but your questions are filled with misconceptions. I feel my explanations would be far too difficult for you to understand. I encourage you to first take some introductory courses. If you keep at it I’m sure you’ll learn a lot!
