Tanvir, nobody in any EDI space can have every protected characteristic. Nor is it desirable that they do. We need folks like you who are able to speak authentically about their important experiences and ally with others and help amplify their voices and build their influence.

I think I agree with some of what you said. There are clearly some groups who are more marginalised than others. Fixing those types of exclusion needs priority. But the way groups of diverse people work together must absolutely be built on mutual respect and equity.

I should have clarified. I don’t think it’s helpful to compare intersectional marginalised characteristics. I.e disabled BME vs BME woman vs working class BME. I personally think class & disability marginalise significantly. But I don’t think that’s a common perception.
