There are anti-racist activists and people who have spent their lives campaigning! Yet they ignore them and ignore their recommendations. They look for ‘EDI experts’ so we can parrot their thoughts and ignore all the black and brown people with lived experience.

It is about getting you to do work for free, instead of paying an expert. I am not a `diversity expert', and I don't want to take the place of one doing free labor. Many also expect you to talk about your lived experience w/o considering the emotional labor it involves.

Meaning: why am I going to talk about racial trauma for someone else's entertainment and without seeing any positive outcome? Am I a pet in a zoo or what? I will take care of my science instead.
