Any details you would like to share about what you did and what you would do differently looking back?
I’m in my 20s and posting about my experience would be unwise. It’s opening myself up to prejudice. Science today is box-ticking. It’s not expanding ones mind (as I had hoped), but knowing how to navigate internal politics and ensure one fits in.

I hope you are able to find a better place to work. I know some places that work like this (maybe many) and I haven't been happier than when I started to work at a department that is aligned with my norms to do the best possible science.
