Hahaha yes @xaqlab pointed out to me, I fairly think that his long - term is already done and his short-term will take just a little more than he thinks haha

The problem with his idea is that Elon wants to achieve this with neural linking rather than fingers, eyes and ears.

Yes. But he has no convincing argument that we are IO limited.

I think it’s just marketing. Reminds me of Tesla - they’re nowhere close to solving level-5 self driving and are taking a brute-force approach that makes no sense.

Sure, I think all of us would love for this to be a reality. The downside of Musk's wildly aspirational claims is that it sets unrealistic expectations and promotes hype cycles. 5 years later Musk moves on to another issue and has no care for the devastation in his wake.
