We are using various types of networks to solve various sorts of problems. One question we are asking is what do you need to add to networks to make them generalize better and perform in a more human-like way.
I think a pragmatic approach would be considering a modular approach. Different networks for different tasks that communicate with one another.
From the literature I’ve read and people I know in the area I’m convinced that’s the best solution.
