Wouldn’t it make more sense to consider Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics and the collapse of wave-functions? Especially when considering free-will?

Perhaps, but one has to exorcise the Laplace demon first, which is what I wanted to do. On top of that, I don’t think we need quantum physics to discuss agency and free will in the context of human affairs.

Does quantum indeterminacy or thermo irreversibility not make the Laplace demon irrelevant? Defo agree w/ you though. QM probably isn’t useful for day-to-day thinking. I alway thought free-will was just a stochastic hamiltonian system. Btw Reza’s quote is beautiful.
