Sounds like an amazing opportunity. Wish I knew about it during my undergrad. I think contextual applications and having an integrated system where applications are shared amongst PIs across labs and unis, so individuals are placed into supportive labs is the way forwards.

There needs to be a collective integrated approach. We need to do some restructuring and rethinking. Recontextualising what are opportunities and achievements? What was the context? Is it impressive given the circumstances or expected? Solvable, just there isn’t an incentive
