2020 was a tough year-hard to celebrate-but good news can bring hope. To that end, I’m thrilled to share the news that I got tenure @mcgillu @McGillEBOH last year. From a #firstgen college student to a tenured professor is a LONG LONG road-SO grateful for all who offered support!
Will you be writing a blog post any time soon. It would be amazing to hear your story. I’m also first-gen and from a working class family, struggling to navigate my way through academia. It would be nice to hear stories from people with similar backgrounds; as it’s so rare.
