Because of COVID, my kids live at their grandmother’s house during the week. Yesterday my 5yo called asking if we could play Roblox together. For two glorious hours we played a multiplayer video game while talking over FaceTime. It was the best part of my week. Fuck COVID.

Roblox is soo popular with kids. It’s crazy how it’s recently exploded. I think there’s something to be said for a good chill low-spec multiplayer game.
My sister and cousins are always playing Fortnight, Roblox or Among Us. Kids love multiplayer games that are intuitive and run smoothly on iPads. There’s something to be said about using tools from open-world games to augment collaboration, learning and communication.
