(Compared to my private school/Ivy bread peers. The fact I suffered homelessness and no one else was like me), Dr Taylor demanded at the OR table for me to claim that is all the more reason why I deserve to be there more than anyone else. This comment resounds within me everyday.
This is touching. I don’t know how I feel about it all. Just being aware that it really came down to luck.
I’ve been in and known so many people in similar positions, but with nobody advocating for them.
