I disagree with the assessment that the impact of COVID is similar "across the board". Early career scientists, those with childcare responsibilities and those expected to pivot their teaching online or deal with the administrative fallout have been disproportionately affected.
I think there may be people far more disproportionally affected. Definitely would not say they’re the ones disproportionately affected. Though what’s the context?
