Are you an interdisciplinary computer scientist or computational social scientist wading into the complex job market (CS? Stats? i-School? B-school?)? We should talk.

Will message him! I want to use math and ML to have real social impact. I’m focused on applying ML to clinical data, healthcare and genomic data. Especially investigating causal links within datasets, thus ensuring robustness and fairness. http://www.maxlittle.net/publications/cb-arxiv-2020.pdf …

Sounds like a valuable contribution to the world. Are you curious about job opportunities or something else? I’m missing some context

I am curious about job opportunities. If the possibility arises I would love to pursue a research project, with the aim of later completing an MRes/MPhil/MS and PhD.

You have a similar background to me.
I graduated from the Cavendish/IOA/DAMPT at Cambridge in the Natural Sciences Tripos; specialising in Astrophysics. (Eventually ending up in DAMPT).
In an ideal world I would love to be able to pursue an PhD investigating causal links.
