The single most annoying academic/Cambridge shock so far: pretty much nobody uses calendar invites, even for official stuff that I absolutely can't miss. This drives me crazy. Ppl just send an email with a zoom link and time. How do I change this?
Ah... Cambridge is never going to modernise. They love their ‘traditions’, unfortunately.
Just last year I was dealing with the fact that many of my lecturers didn’t have any online notes and I would spend my days scrambling to write down what was written on a chalkboard.
