Ok people, I need your support. I worked for a PI over the course of almost 3 years. She published two of the analyses I performed for her as 2 separate papers without including me as an author. What do I do? #AcademicChatter @TruthsAcademic @DBetterAcademia @indomitusconvoy
I had a similar experience during my undergrad. I don’t think it’s possible to win unfortunately. Abuse within academia is far too widespread and very rarely discussed.
I’m sorry you had to go through this.. Did you take any steps to address it and did any of them help? If not, how did you move on?

Depends how many bridges you want to burn. All,of them? Write to the editor and say this is your IP published without acknowledgement and without your consent. Be ready with evidence though.
There are no bridges left.. I just want to be sure what I should do next to not face any consequences on the last few months before obtaining my PhD
