If you ask me, GenX got the biggest shaft, but turned lemons into lemonade. Think of the high teen pregnancy rate, shitty education, alcoholism and drug addiction. I'd say we made it out better than I thought. Probably because of our independence.
Not sure about that. I think certain demographics prospered, while others were completely marginalised. (Think the legacy of the crack and AIDs epidemic). If one got in on the dot-com bubble it was pretty easy to profit. Social mobility, at least in the U.K. was far better.
