I’m not sure the point of the distinction between anxiety and long COVID. They both present with similar symptoms, though anxiety has significantly more research behind it. The underline mechanism doesn’t matter.https://twitter.com/maosbot/status/1328786390998454277 …
Overall as a society we just need better protections for people with health conditions, regardless of the mechanism behind it. The impact is the same.
Fair: I’m not trying to minimise anxiety, by any means. I am confident that my symptoms are–at least–not *exclusively* due to anxiety.
Like you said, there is growing evidence for long COVID. There may be genetic markers that are worth investigating. Could explain why some develop post-viral syndrome. There may be similarities with other conditions. Applying a supervised learning model would be worthwhile.
