I'll be honest the fact that Fenix is going to be able to be locked in this weekend for HGC in his current state is hilarious.

They let him be played in Hero League for two weeks without changing him because "balance patches are expensive"....can't say I'm too surprised that they haven't thought "maybe we ought to fix this first" for HGC play. Should be "fun"!
I would love to have a discussion about this but unfortunately, based on the reaction to my post and tweets like these it's hard to justify. I love and admire the passion of the community but it's almost prohibitive to say anything without facing backlash.

many heroes have seen that state during the years, although HGC wasn't what it was therefore it probably had less impact.

maybe in those situations pros can decide not to allow a new released hero? 2nd pick team will have to waste a ban every game... that's not very fair

I can't see what's wrong with that tweet and why would it mean that it's hard for you to justify having a discussion. It wouldn't exactly be a discussion if everyone just agreed with you. There's backlash because people disagree, and that's a part of discussing things.

Then let's have that discussion. Fenix is, by all accounts, as broken as Maiev, but has gone 2 weeks without any fix and will soon be in HGC. We have a right to know why, and the only reason we've been given is cost. As a gamer, you have to understand how frustrating that is.

We're not asking you to give us privileged info, I understand you have to keep some things close to the vest. But when the only stated reason for an unbalanced hero is the "cost" of fixing him and the fear of "shaking the meta", the community is naturally going to be upset.
