Hmmm, I wonder if you're doing a step wrong cause this has fixed everyone else that I'm aware of. Did you ever mess around with core affinity or core parking? Any weird registry hacks?

As far as I know the only thing I've done is turn the game bar off in and out of game. Nothing else has been touched. As of right now my priority is set to below normal

Task manager -> go to details -> hots -> set priority below normal

still getting random encoding errors but stream doesn't spam LAGFFFF every 3 minutes after the change. It'll suffice for now as it isn't bothering the viewing experience

Out of curiosity, what do you mean encoding errors? I assumed you meant the frame drops on stream.

Yes but on the obs it shows as an "encoding error" in the bottom corner when the lag is happening

Hmm ok I'm not familiar with that one honestly. Are you using x264 or NVENC?
