I had mine 6 years ago and it's starting to regress for me so this is the first year where Im needing glasses again, but I don't don't regret my decision at at all. I went from -6 with astigmatism to 20/10 so no complaints.
So... how terrifying is the procedure
?
I've had several real surgeries before, so this was super easy for me personally. I didn't need Xanax to relax nor was I nervous. You stare at the laser, vision gos black for couple seconds, and smell some burning flesh
and the viola, can see again
Your vision goes black??? For a couple seconds???

I think the burning flesh is the weirdest part!
My vision never went black, all I could feel was some pressure but otherwise was very easy.
