      @azgaz Is there a way to remove the write protection from the hots-folder @ documents permanently? I think it causes freezes when I change

      any of my ingame settings, and I tend to toggle the music / sound quite often with CTRL + S / + M

      That sounds like a Windows thing, not a Heroes thing. Did you copy the folder from another PC or hard drive?

      Yeah i had the impression if i remove the protection manually it works until its enabled again. I did not, I will prolly try reinstalling

      Reinstalling should apply the correct owner for permissions, Windows gets a bit territorial sometimes with folders from other installations.

          Update2: It was actually my antivirus, it did a small scan everytime a file got saved. Makes sense that it caused a small lag, fixed now!
